Background
Across the UK, major cities continue to face the challenge of meeting housing demand. One forward-thinking solution is Modular Design, delivering homes that combine speed, quality, and affordability. To ensure safety matched the innovation, every modular unit in this development was fitted with an iMist™ Watermist Fire Suppression system, protecting both the properties and their occupants in the event of a fire.
Solution
This Reading-based project comprised 70 two, three, and four-bedroom homes, all designed with open-plan living at their heart. iMist™ nozzles were installed seamlessly within the ceilings, preserving the sleek layouts while providing full fire protection.
Working hand-in-hand with the modular factory, our engineers carried out installations both on-site and at the developer’s UK facility. The project began in 2020 and was delivered in carefully phased stages over three years, with iMist™ supporting the development every step of the way.
