Rembrandt House, once a disused Edwardian hospital, underwent a major redevelopment as part of a ‘change of building use’ project. The historic property was converted into 80 modern flats, with the overall programme taking one year to complete. Throughout the project, iMist™ worked closely with the developer, frequently adapting designs in line with the programme of works (POW) to ensure smooth progress and timely delivery.
As part of the installation, the iMist™ system was integrated with a range of third-party installations, including Automatic Opening Vents (AOVs) and fire panels. This level of coordination demonstrated the flexibility of the system and its ability to work seamlessly alongside other fire safety measures. The project also provided the opportunity to collaborate directly with the London Fire Brigade, who were impressed by the system’s capability and performance.
