Llys Faith

Background

The Llys Faith project in Wales consisted of 90 one and two-bedroom apartments. Initially, the client planned to use a traditional sprinkler company for the installation. However, concerns arose over the significant space that would be taken up by a large water storage tank, as well as the potential for extensive water damage in the event of activation, which could have required the temporary relocation of all residents.

Solution

The client turned to iMist™, impressed by the system’s efficiency and low water usage. With no need for bulky water storage, valuable space could instead be used to provide additional in-house services, improving the overall functionality of the building.

iMist™ installed more than 840 nozzles across all habitable rooms, completing the project in approximately six months. The result was a future-proof, space-saving fire suppression system that delivered robust protection while meeting the client’s design and operational requirements.
