Urban Splash: Northstowe

Background

Urban Splash approached iMist™ as they were developing modular homes in Northstowe with a focus on delivering a modern, luxury feel for residents. However, the nature of modular construction meant that the first fix needed to be carried out within their factory before the homes were transported to site, creating a unique challenge.

Solution

iMist™ worked closely with Urban Splash to provide a tailored installation approach. Our engineers completed the first fix in the factory, ensuring the fire suppression system was seamlessly integrated during the build process. Once the homes were transported to site, we carried out the second fix, connecting the floors and finalising the system installation.

This flexible method allowed Urban Splash to maintain their off-site construction schedule while still delivering a discreet, high-quality fire suppression system that complemented the overall design of the modular homes.
