Background
This London loft conversion and extension required a fire suppression system to achieve the desired open-plan layout across the kitchen, living, and dining areas. With insufficient compartmentation in place, additional fire safety measures were necessary to meet building regulations.
Solution
The building control officer approved the iMist™ water mist system as a compensatory measure, allowing the customer to keep their open-plan design while ensuring safety and compliance. Our installation provided full coverage across the kitchen, living, and dining spaces.
