About the iMist System
This system has been installed to protect your life and your property in the event of a fire.
It is very important that you:
Please also be aware that the alarm will sound on power loss to the pump or when your system has approached it’s service due date. Every iMist system includes a 12-year warranty, provided it’s serviced annually. Registering your system protects that warranty and makes future servicing simple.
Register My Warranty or Book My Annual Service
If you haven’t already, please register your system warranty here. We will contact you 6 weeks before your service is due to remind you of your due date, and arrange a convenient time for our engineers to attend your property and service your iMist system.
What Is a Smart Pump?
Some iMist systems include our iMist Monitoring Service (IMS), which adds built-in monitoring to allow for:
Early Detection
The IMS can provide early detection for electrical faults, saving time and money by acting before a failure happens.
Minimise Risk
Having real-time updates allows us to react quickly to any flagged system issues, helping us ensure your system is fully functional in the event of a fire.
Historic Data
The available data will help us build a case for insurers or investigations, showing clear evidence of power surges, signal loss, or consistent uptime.
Smarter Systems
Every signal we receive aids our future development, including the ability to offer tailored, data-driven pumps.
Cost Savings
Detecting component faults earlier means that we can proactively repair or replace. This will mitigate the need for full pump replacement in the future.
If you need to connect your smart pump to the wifi, then do x, y, z
If your system doesn’t include a smart pump, don’t worry, it’s just as reliable. However, if it is something that you’d be interested in

You may hear a series of alarms from your system, meaning different things. We have put the descriptions of each alarm below.

ALARM SOUND | ALARM TRIGGER/REMEDY |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Consistent 1.0 second audible pulse on start-up. | This is the indication that commission is required. Push Button depressed for 5.0 seconds to commission the system. |

| 7 | Audible pulse for 10.0 seconds with a break of 1.0 second. | This is the indication that the iMist™ system has been activated and has completed its maximum run time and System Lockout has been achieved. An iMist™ Service Operative is now required to remove the spent unit and install and commission a new one. |
| 8 | Constant solid buzzer. | This is the indication that a power source has been lost. You must investigate and get the power restored ASAP. When the power is restored, the buzzer will auto silence. If the power is restored and the power loss buzzer continues to sound please contact iMist™ immediately. |
